From the deepest pits and sewers from Portugal comes Raw Vomit, a band that has absolutely no sense for subtlety or melody. In fact, the soul or souls behind Raw Vomit seem to have no sense for anything, at all. This rehearsal cassette tape has no tracks, the band has no contact, no identity. It is the band’s utter noise that should do the talking here.
Well, talking… It is the bands utter noise that is doing the noise, really. This cassette tape offers you some Lo-Fi Black Metal/Grindcore alloy that bogs down into some unidentifiable primal weapon that just keeps hammering your skull for ten minutes straight. The music seemingly has very little structure and sounds like a demonic sort of jam session between Profanatica, Naked Whipper and Von. Thundering drums, raging riffs and rabid vocals, it is all there to haunt you for the rest the days of your feeble existence. Nope, this is not at all for the faint of heart, in fact, this the perfect stuff for the most depraved souls amongst us. I, for me, definitely loved the tape and highly recommend this for the true connoisseurs of the bands mentioned above, as well as the rawest recordings of the likes of Blasphemy, Demoncy, Beherit, Havohej and Goatlord.
