This is such a band that is just a little too mediocre to be keeping your attention to the music. Unfortunately, because the ideas are not bad at all, but somehow they bore me after a while when things are going to sound very alike. Best part is the first track that is actually a good and solid track, with quite a good sound and riffing. This song is divided in three pieces “Silence before storm”, “The Battle” and “The Awakening”, I really like the last part with the mid-tempo pieces. Another nice point is the beginning of the third track, again the mid-temp part, I guess this band shouldn’t play up-temp that much since their mid-paced musical skills are way better. But overall the rest of the songs seem to lack any creative songwriting. This doesn’t mean I’m totally sceptic about these German winterwarriors, as far as I know this is the first effort and considering that this isn’t really bad. I’m curious what the future will bring…
Another quick good point is that I have to compliment the band for the good-looking artwork!
