Evil Ejaculation was formed back in 2019 in the city of Cochabamba, one of the major cities of Bolivia. It arose from the creative minds of two musicians, each with a modest musical background, though Kuervo Psycho-Terror’s contribution to Kulto Maldito is particularly noteworthy. But even without any familiarity with this band or the musicians involved, it’s not hard to figure out where on the metal spectrum Evil Ejaculation fits. The band name alone is telling. Evil Ejaculation fits right in between bands like Profanatica, Goat Semen and Blasphemy.
‘The Royal Ritual Ceremony’ is the band’s debut demo that was self-released on cassette tape in early 2025, and is now reissued on another run of cassette tapes by the Polish label Rex Diaboli. A quick bit of math before we dive a little deeper into the music: if the band was formed in 2019, that means they have taken quite a few years to come up with their first recording. Whatever the reason, it is not because they have been polishing or refining their formula.
As said, positioning Evil Ejaculation is quite easy, its literally in between the aforementioned trio of bands. All three highly influential on a global scale, but especially on the bands from the South American continent. Whether the two guys in the band have been influenced by Profanatica, Goat Semen and Blasphemy, I don’t know, but the four tracks on this demo (together clocking in at 13 minutes) will definitely please fans of these bands. Personally I love the rather dry production, the repetitive drumming/riffs and hissing vocals, together they add so much to the authenticity of the music. It is deliciously simple and no effort was made to make it sound any different than that, ‘The Royal Ritual Ceremony’ is a true testament of wild South American madness.
If you are into the bands mentioned above or such acts as early Anal Vomit, Sarcófago, Vulcano, Death Yell, Morbosidad, Mystifier or Deiphago, this is a demo tape you really should consider getting your hands on. It won’t change your world, but it will change your day!
