The announcement of this LP was already enough to get me interested: ‘A perverted overdose of raw diabolic metal punk. Sounds like a fistfight between Hellhammer and Discharge while Motorhead, Bathory & GBH are being blasted in the background! Played by members from other established underground bands.’
Actually, I could as well just end my review here, as this is as accurate as it can get. This band, which consists out of members from the Spanish undergruond scene (Machetazo, Looking For An Answer and Moho), has spawned an ugly monster. Somewhere balancing between the Swedish crust-punk bands like Wolfpack and raw old-styled black metal like early Venom and later Darkthrone they are to disgust everyone into polished and well-produced music. The title of the record is both fitting and misleading at the same time, this is definitely not vintage the way Swedish Witchcraft uses it. Yet, the ugly cover artwork prevents those hippies to pick up this barbaric onslaught. Definitely not for the faint-hearted and the weak at mind.
But, for those who are into the most revolting kind of ‘crossover’, this is something that can’t be missed. Be careful, though, this quite not near a band like D.R.I. or Nuclear Assault. This is so far removed from anything that’s clean or well cultivated. You have been warned…
Die-hard version of this vinyl comes in white wax and with a nice circular embroidered patch. Limited to 111 copies.
