Yes, you are right! I already reviewed this great epic in April this year. But I was surprised that I found this once again between my post.
Well, this time it is a bit different, instead of the normal CD release, we’ve got here a box set consisting of the whole album divided over 3 7″ vinyl pieces. So that makes it worthwhile to talk about once again. This looks really unbelievably awesome, the artwork is somewhat the same (although the front cover is slightly different, so, I’m sorry about that) but this one has got a lot more to look at. The package contains three info sheets with the lyrics, extra photos and artwork. Besides that there are also three postcards with it, displaying the same kind of artwork we are used to from Vinterriket, really great! And last but not least we have the three vinyl pieces, one being pressed on black vinyl, the second one on white vinyl and the last on one white/grey marbled vinyl. An awesome package so to say. So all maniacal Vinterriket fans, vinyl collectors or dark ambient fans, get your hands on this one, since it’s limited to 500 copies only, be fast!
