The Day Everything Became Nothing – Invention: Destruction

Artist: The Day Everything Became Nothing
Country: Australia
Label: No Escape Records
Formats: CD
Year: 2006

Australian The Day Everything Became Nothing did it again, blasting the world with a massive release. Both of their predecessors were highly successful in impressing me. All the trademarks of the band are here to be found, like the low growling vocals bij Tony Forde (T-Bone in Blood Duster) and the extremely low tuned guitars from guitarists Dean and Dave (Fuck… I’m Dead and owner of No Escape Records) and the overall low tempos – which is the true killer in this matter. Also the short songtitles and last but certainly not least, the stunning artwork. Yeah, this “Invention: Destruction” is definitely one of the best grindcore albums I heard this year so far. Again a quaility release for both band and label, thumbs up!
