Year: 2007
Enforcer from Sweden are far from an original band, in fact, they are a band that are knee-deep in the 80’s. Their old fashioned, yet fresh sounding, thrash metal breathes nothing but honest speed metal and clearly pays homage to bands like Vicious Rumors, Agent Steel, Virgin Steele, Defender, Exciter, Metal Church etc.
Basically, Enforcer are an obvious hint to US metal. That means that everyone with a strong love to such music will surely be highly entertained by these two (rather short) song on this 7” EP. It is still pretty much a kick-ass thing to hear a band with guys under 45 playing this kind of music with such devotion and admirable enthusiasm. These are the guys that are putting old school heavy metal, speed metal and thrash metal back on the map and that is just something I can’t stop loving. Total support for these guys.
Again Iron Pegasus brought us a nice punch of heavy metal, nothing fancy on this release though – yet, the first 100 copies are in coloured vinyl. And if you’re looking for other Enforcer releases, they are on the “Teutonic-Swedish Alliance”-compilation LP (released on New Iron Age Records) and they recently signed to Heavy Artillery Records that brought us the likes of Merciless Death and these guys put them on the “Speed Kills… Again”-compilation LP. Keep an eye on these and support them!
