I like to start of with saying this isn’t really new anymore, since it was released somewhere at the end of the year 2002. But anyway, I think this band is worthy to get Vampire-Magazine’s support anyway. It’s underground blackmetal, right? Well, these Portuguese cult hordes return with their new album “Total Bloodshedding Devestation”. It’s released on tape and on vinyl, like it should be… What I’ve got here is the tape version of this new assault.
And an assault it is, raw and harsh blackmetal the way it should sound. Right in your face and no-nonsense. Considering this being their debut LP, this can’t go wrong. The true underground freaks heard this long time ago, several (split) demo’s were put out and a split 7” EP with German maniacs Front Beast. Back to this LP then. This definitely belongs to the better underground releases of 2002! Dirty blackmetal in the vein of the old founders of the genre. The atmosphere is truly grim and evil, this is something many bands try to achieve, but almost always fail miserably… When you have the chance to get this gem, get it then, it’s a must for any true underground fan.
